2-day Online Global Zoom workshop event. Mark your calendars!

In a world where anxiety, depression, and the pressure to measure up are ever-present, all these drain the mental wellness of our next generation. The purpose of this event is to provide a roadmap and guidelines for youth to find hope and opportunities in these challenges as well as resources for youth workers to help and walk alongside the youth in their faith journey. We invite everyone from North America and Asia to join us.

Day 1 Speakers and Topics:

Pastor Leona Chen was born in Canada and raised in Hong Kong, where she navigated the challenges of being a third-culture kid and ultimately found her identity and peace in Christ. Since 2010, she has been ministering to Gen Z within Asian American church settings, serving as a bridge between cultures and generations. Leona holds a Master of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary and currently serves as an associate English co-pastor at a Taiwanese church in California. Together with her husband, Andrew, she is passionate about intergenerational discipleship and has recently launched an online platform to continue to support the Gen Z in their faith journey from youth to adulthood.

Topic: Finding Identity and Destiny in Christ

In a world where anxiety, depression, and the pressure to measure up are ever-present, it’s time to reject the kingdom of the world and embrace God’s higher purpose for our lives. In this workshop, Pastor Leona will share her personal journey of stepping out of darkness into the light of Christ, where even a small, uncertain ‘yes’ can be transformed into a blessing for you and those around you. Join us to explore how God’s plan can bring true peace and purpose as we follow Him step by step.

Dr. Agnes Ip Ph.D., LMFT. is the Founder and CEO of PresencePresence Hong Kong Ltd., and Presence Quotient Canada™. Topic: Nurturing Relationships: Communicating Boundaries with Love and Clarity

Navigating relationships can be tough, especially when it comes to setting boundaries. This workshop will show you how to communicate your needs in a way that’s honest and kind, helping you protect your peace while staying close to the people you care about. Learn how to set boundaries that make your friendships, family, and dating relationships stronger, all while staying rooted in your faith.

Day 2 Speaker and Topic:

Dr. Andy Ying, Psy.D. is a Psychologist-Christian. He obtained his doctoral degree in Clinical Psychologist at Azusa Pacific University. He is licensed in the State of California, and he has years of experience working with children, youth, and young adults through individual and family interventions. He had been providing psychotherapy as a social worker in Hong Kong.

Topic: Road to Resilience through Resistance and Restoration

Resilience is a formative process that is continually developed through circumstances that consist of challenges and opportunities. The workshop aims to provide a roadmap to help youth and youth workers navigate a pathway of such development.
